On this occasion, ALL•PORT Resort began the way most of Lara Allport’s work doesn’t — with a paintbrush, not a business plan.
Lara has spent over two decades in branding, design and illustration, founding both The National Grid and The Drawing Arm. But painting has always run alongside the client work — open-eye meditation, as she calls it; a way to express without having a brief, a critical eye or rounds of changes.

Lara’s work, including her botanical collection drawn from the bush close to her home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, has been exhibited in Sydney, London, Miami, Detroit and Dubai.
Lara is represented by Northern Beaches Gallery, founded by Wayne Devenny.

ALL•PORT is where that practice becomes wearable. Each piece in the collection starts as an original painting in Lara’s studio, before it’s translated into pattern, cut into silk, and made for travel.
